Ness Up Here 4-1.JPG

This mural features Ness Lee’s classic hand-drawn figures of curvy, naked figures adorned with long, jet-black hair, and acts as an investigation of the human form dealing with notions of intimacy and self-love.

Ness Lee

Ness Lee is a noodle lovin’ pot stickin’ son-of-a-bun from Toronto, Ontario. Her illustrations have been published internationally and she’s exhibited her works at galleries all around the world.

Ness Lee’s work is an investigation of the human form dealing with notions of intimacy and self-love. Rather than the emphasis on the physical form, the emotional resonance and presence is brought to focus in periods of vulnerability, discomfort and acceptance. Using various mediums, she explores and echoes these emotions, encompassing its tactile experience into one that is filled with a depth of feeling, playing on humorous rhythms and self-exploration.
